The basic question
As a believer I would feel cheated if only certain books pertained to me. It is obvious that there are lessons in all the books to be learned and lived by us.

To understand Gods relationship to man we must ask ourselves two basic questions in regard to understanding scripture. 1. What is the pattern of God's revelation? 2. How does this passage fit into the total pattern of God's revelation? We believe that God's relationship with man is on a continuous basic. To believe in a discontinuous relationship can be dangerous in our understanding of a God who does not change. To believe in a continuous relationship brings more security as a believer and makes more sense. After all God does not want to be confusing by working in dispensations. God was the same yesterday, today and will be tomorrow. This is why He says in Malachi 3:6 "I am the Lord your God, I change not".
